How to Respect Member Privacy in WB Gamification

Members trust a site that respects their privacy. Choose whether profiles are public, and export the data of a member when they ask for it. You need the free WB Gamification plugin, installed and active. It takes about a minute. It shows steps three and four of the full video, Look up, support and protect your members.

Step three. Choose what profiles show. Click Habits and Profiles. Public Profiles lets other people see a member's points, badges and rank. Turn it off to keep every profile private. Slug base sets the start of the profile address.

Step four. Export a member's data. When a member asks for their data, open Tools, then Export Personal Data. Enter their email and send the request.
