Frequently asked

  1. Do you sign client-facing contracts?

    No. The client contracts with you. Wbcom contracts with you under a master service agreement and an NDA. Your client sees one vendor: yours. We invoice you, you invoice the client at whatever margin you set.

  2. How do you handle communication?

    Inside your Basecamp, Slack, or Linear. Email signatures and Loom intros are co-branded or fully white-labeled. We default to silent on calls unless you want us on (in which case we attend as your engineering team).

  3. What if the client asks who is behind the code?

    You decide. Some partners disclose we are a contracted team; most do not. Either way, the NDA blocks us from approaching the client directly, soliciting them, or showing the work in our portfolio without your written consent.

  4. What is the minimum engagement?

    Retainers start at 20 hours per month with a 3-month minimum. Fixed-price project blocks have no minimum but quotes for under $5K are not cost-effective on either side. Discovery calls are free.

  5. Do you take over emergency work or only planned projects?

    Both. Active retainer partners get priority on emergency work (within 4 business hours for P1 issues). Non-retainer emergencies are accepted case by case at standard hourly rates.

  6. Can we resell your products (Reign, BuddyX, BP plugins) too?

    Yes. Agency partner pricing on bulk licenses for our 100+ products. Co-branded product configurations available. Talk to us about volume tiers if you ship a lot of communities or membership sites.
