Trust Terms and conditions

The agreement between you and Wbcom Designs.

Plain language summary of the licensing, support, renewal, refund, and liability terms that apply to every plugin, theme, and custom development service we sell. The full binding clauses sit below in numbered sections.

Last updated May 2026

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using a Wbcom Designs product or service, you agree to these terms and confirm that you have read and understood them. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

The clauses below cover six areas: licensing, subscriptions and renewals, refunds, support scope, warranty and liability, and product delivery. Each section uses plain language; the legal effect is binding when you purchase a license or commission custom development work.

Licensing

Four rules covering what the license grants and what it does not.

Wbcom Designs plugins and themes are released under the GPL v3. The clauses below define the practical scope of your license, the support relationship, and what you cannot do with the license key.

01

GPL v3 licensed

All Wbcom Designs plugins and themes are released under the GNU General Public License version 3.0 or later. You can read, modify, and redistribute the code under those terms. The license at gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html applies in full.

GPL v3.0 or later, in full.

02

One purchaser, non-transferable

Each license is granted to the original purchaser for their internal use. The license cannot be transferred to another customer, resold, or sublicensed. Agencies who buy on behalf of a client should buy under the client account so the support relationship is in the right name.

One purchaser per license. Buy under the right account.

03

Active domain plus staging

Each license covers your live production domain and a staging server on the same domain name. Activate the license on the live site; the staging copy on the same domain is covered automatically. A second unrelated domain needs a second license.

Live domain plus same-domain staging covered.

04

Do not bundle in marketplaces

You may not bundle a Wbcom Designs plugin or theme with another product, such as a third-party WordPress theme, and distribute the bundle on a marketplace. Customers should buy direct from Wbcom Designs to get the active license and support coverage.

No marketplace bundling.

Subscriptions and renewals

Six clauses on how annual subscriptions work.

Every paid plugin and theme is sold as a yearly subscription that auto-renews. The 30% renewal discount, the cancellation flow, and the price-change clause matter most for budget planning.

01

Annual auto-renewal

Plugin and theme licenses renew automatically every year on the anniversary of your original purchase date. The renewal keeps your license active so you continue receiving automatic updates and support eligibility.

Renews yearly on the purchase anniversary.

02

Flat 30% renewal discount

Renewal payments are charged at a flat 30% discount off the base price of the plugin or theme at the time of renewal. Older or initial pricing cannot be re-applied if you cancel and renew later.

30% off base price at renewal.

03

Cancel anytime from your account

Open your account page on wbcomdesigns.com and cancel the subscription before the renewal date. After cancellation, the license stays valid until the anniversary, then updates and support end. No retroactive charges.

Cancel from /profile/, valid until anniversary.

04

Two-week renewal reminder

A reminder email goes out two weeks before each renewal. Use that window to cancel if you do not want the renewal to process. Renewals are not refundable once charged, which is why the reminder gives you a heads-up first.

Email 14 days before each charge.

05

No refunds on renewal payments

Renewal charges cannot be refunded. The two-week reminder email is the chance to opt out. The seven-day refund window applies only to the original purchase, not renewal charges.

Renewal charges are final.

06

Prices can change without notice

Wbcom Designs reserves the right to change product prices, subscription terms, or license features. Existing active subscriptions continue at their current renewal pricing until the next anniversary; new licenses pay the listed price.

Listed price applies at purchase or renewal.

Refunds

Four conditions on when a refund applies.

The full refund policy lives on a dedicated page. The clauses here are the binding terms; the dedicated page explains the operational flow for opening a refund ticket.

01

Seven-day window on initial purchase

A refund request can be raised within the first seven days of the original purchase. Outside that window, refunds cannot be granted on the initial purchase. Same rule applies to plugins and themes; custom development is covered separately below.

Seven days from the purchase date.

02

Refund eligibility conditions

A refund applies if the plugin cannot be installed correctly, cannot perform its core function, or has a defect we cannot resolve. You must have opened a support ticket and given us a reasonable chance to fix the issue. Technical conflicts caused by third-party plugins or themes do not qualify on their own.

Core function broken plus support attempt logged.

03

Custom development is non-refundable

Payments for custom development services are final and non-refundable once work commences. The service is bespoke, allocated against engineer time, and tailored to your specifications. Project abandonment by the client does not trigger a refund and remaining fees may still be invoiced.

Custom development = final on commencement.

04

Deactivate and uninstall on refund

When a refund is granted, you agree to deactivate the plugin or theme on every site it was installed on, uninstall it, and stop using the license. The license key is revoked once the refund is processed.

Deactivate, uninstall, stop using.

Support scope and hours

Six clauses defining what support covers, when, and for whom.

Support is included with every active subscription. The hours, response targets, and eligibility rules are listed here. Submit a ticket at /support/ for the fastest response.

01

Active subscription required

Support is included with every active subscription. If your subscription has lapsed, renew it or purchase a new license to re-enable support eligibility. Renewal is at the 30% discounted rate; new licenses pay current listed price.

Active subscription = support eligible.

02

Submit a ticket at /support/

The fastest route is the support ticket form at wbcomdesigns.com/support/. Tickets are routed to the team that owns the product and carry history across replies. Email support@wbcomdesigns.com reaches the same queue if the ticket form is not the right shape.

/support/ ticket form, or support@wbcomdesigns.com.

03

Coverage hours: 10:00 to 22:00 IST

Customer support is staffed Monday to Friday excluding major holidays, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM India Standard Time (+5:30 GMT). Inquiries received outside these hours are picked up the next business day.

10am-10pm IST, Mon-Fri, excluding holidays.

04

First reply within 12 hours weekday

During business days we aim to reply to premium support requests within 12 hours. On weekends the target shifts to 24 to 48 hours. Tickets are handled first-come, first-served; we cannot guarantee a specific resolution time.

12hr weekday, 24-48hr weekend response target.

05

Original purchaser only

Support is provided only to the customer account that holds the license key. A reseller, a client of a reseller, or any other third party using the key without authorization is not eligible. Sharing the key for support purposes is treated as a fraudulent use of the license.

Account holder only. Key sharing voids support.

06

Latest WordPress version supported

Wbcom Designs products are tested and maintained against the current WordPress release. Older WordPress versions are not guaranteed to work and support cannot resolve issues that stem from out-of-date core. Update WP, theme, and PHP first.

Current WP release is the support baseline.

Warranty and liability

Four clauses covering the limits of our responsibility.

Like every commercial WordPress plugin, our products are licensed without warranty. The clauses below define liability boundaries, server-access expectations, and how bug fixes are prioritized.

01

Software is provided as-is

Wbcom Designs products are licensed without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee compatibility with every WordPress theme, plugin, server, or hosting environment. You install and run the software at your own risk.

No warranty. Customer risk.

02

No liability for data loss or downtime

Wbcom Designs is not responsible for data loss, site downtime, performance impact, or other damages that may arise from installing or using a Wbcom Designs product. Run staging tests before promoting to production. Run regular backups.

Test in staging, back up production.

03

Server access caveat

When support requests temporary access to your WordPress install or hosting panel to diagnose an issue, the access is at your discretion. Take a full backup before granting it. Wbcom Designs cannot be held liable for consequences arising from the access you authorize.

Backup first. Grant access at your discretion.

04

Bug-fix priority by severity

Security issues are patched as soon as possible and shipped as a point release. Non-critical bugs queue for the next minor or major version. Customers who need a specific non-critical fix sooner can request prioritization via the support team.

Security: ASAP. Non-critical: next release.

Delivery and updates

Four clauses on how you get the product and how updates work.

Plugins, themes, and license keys are delivered through your account dashboard. The clauses below cover delivery, re-download access, automatic updates, and the intellectual property position.

01

Delivered via your account area

Once payment is processed, an order confirmation email arrives with your order number. The license key plus the plugin or theme zip is available in your account at wbcomdesigns.com under /profile/license-keys/ and /profile/download-history/.

Account dashboard at /profile/.

02

Re-download depends on active license

Access to re-download purchased files depends on your license key being valid. If the license expires, download access is suspended until you renew. Site installs continue to run; only fresh downloads and updates are gated.

License must be active to re-download.

03

Automatic updates for active subscriptions

Automatic updates from your WordPress admin are available while the license key is valid and active. Once a subscription is canceled and the license expires, automatic updates stop until the subscription is renewed.

Auto-updates while subscription is active.

04

Wbcom Designs retains intellectual property

Wbcom Designs and its licensors retain ownership of the products, services, documentation, and all related intellectual property. The license grants you usage rights as defined; it does not transfer ownership of the code, brand, or content.

IP stays with Wbcom Designs.

Common questions

Frequently asked

  1. How do I get the plugin or theme after I pay?

A confirmation email arrives within minutes of a successful payment. Log into your account at wbcomdesigns.com, open /profile/license-keys/ for the key and /profile/download-history/ for the zip. If the email never lands, open a ticket at /support/ with your order number and we resend.

  2. Can I use one license on multiple domains?

No. Each license covers one live production domain plus a staging server on that same domain name. A second unrelated domain needs a second license. Multi-site bundles are available for agencies running several client builds; ask sales via /contact/.

  3. What happens if I cancel and the subscription expires?

Your existing install keeps working. Automatic updates and support eligibility stop on the anniversary date. To restart updates and support you must renew the subscription at the then-current listed price (initial promotional pricing cannot be re-applied).

  4. Does my renewal price ever change?

Yes, if the base price of the plugin or theme changes. The 30% renewal discount is applied to the base price at the time of renewal, not the original purchase price. The two-week reminder email gives you the chance to cancel before the new renewal charge processes.

  5. What if a WordPress update breaks the plugin?

Open a support ticket with the WordPress version, the plugin version, and a reproduction step. Compatibility with the latest WordPress release is part of our maintenance commitment for active subscriptions; security fixes ship as a point release, other fixes ship with the next minor or major version.

  6. A third-party plugin conflicts with yours. Can I get a refund?

Conflicts caused by third-party plugins or themes do not by themselves qualify for a refund. We will investigate, and if the conflict is one we can resolve on our side we will ship a fix. If the conflict is in the third-party code we will document it and point you at the responsible plugin author.

  7. How do I report a security bug?

Email support@wbcomdesigns.com with the subject prefix [Security]. Security bugs are patched ahead of the regular release cycle and shipped as a point release. Please do not publish details of the issue until a fix is available.

  8. I have a question about these terms. Who do I email?

connect@wbcomdesigns.com goes to the team that handles non-product questions, including questions about these terms. We reply within four business hours during business days.

A clause that needs clarification?

Email connect@wbcomdesigns.com.

Non-product questions, including questions about these terms or about commercial use cases, route to connect@wbcomdesigns.com. Replies within four business hours during business days.
