How to Set Up Cohort Leagues in WB Gamification

A newcomer cannot catch the leaders, so they stop trying. Cohort leagues place members in small groups, move the top up and the bottom down, and show each member their place. Hana is a member of the site in this video. You need the free WB Gamification plugin, installed and active. It takes about a minute. It shows steps three and four of the full video, Run challenges and leagues.

Step three. Set up Cohort Leagues. Click Cohort Leagues. Members are placed in small groups, so a newcomer competes with peers. Tier Names sets the league names. Promotion percent moves the top members up, Demotion percent moves the bottom down.

Step four. See it as a member. Hana sees her challenges, and the Community goal with its shared progress. Your league shows her place among her group this week. A fair race for everyone. For the whole job, watch the full video, Run challenges and leagues.
