Yes. BuddyX is on WordPress.org, it is GPL open source, and you can use it on as many sites as you want. No licence key, no expiration, no phone-home tracking. Pro adds advanced features for sites that outgrow the free version, but plenty of communities never need to upgrade.
No. BuddyX does not ship the page builders and shortcode libraries that bog down most community themes. Your pages open quickly, your members scroll without waiting, and your hosting bill does not go up.
BuddyX works with BuddyPress, BuddyBoss Platform, and bbPress. The most popular add-ons (Profile Pro, Moderation Pro, Polls, Reactions, Hashtags, Activity Share, Private Community) are already styled. The team behind BuddyX maintains most of these add-ons themselves, so compatibility stays current.
