01 Is BuddyX really free?
Yes. BuddyX is on WordPress.org, it is GPL open source, and you can use it on as many sites as you want. No licence key, no expiration, no phone-home tracking. Pro adds advanced features for sites that outgrow the free version, but plenty of communities never need to upgrade.

02 Will BuddyX slow down my site?
No. BuddyX does not ship the page builders and shortcode libraries that bog down most community themes. Your pages open quickly, your members scroll without waiting, and your hosting bill does not go up.

03 Which BuddyPress add-ons does BuddyX support?
BuddyX works with BuddyPress, BuddyBoss Platform, and bbPress. The most popular add-ons (Profile Pro, Moderation Pro, Polls, Reactions, Hashtags, Activity Share, Private Community) are already styled. The team behind BuddyX maintains most of these add-ons themselves, so compatibility stays current.

04 Can I run a course site without BuddyPress?
Yes. BuddyX has dedicated layouts for LearnDash, LifterLMS, Tutor LMS, and LearnPress. You can launch a course business without ever turning on the community features. Add BuddyPress later if you want students talking to each other.

05 Does BuddyX work with WooCommerce and multi-vendor plugins?
Yes. WooCommerce, EDD, Dokan, WCFM, and WC Vendors are all supported. Your storefront, vendor dashboards, and product pages all pick up your BuddyX colours and fonts. You can switch between multi-vendor plugins without rebuilding the site.

06 What is the difference between BuddyX and BuddyX Pro?
BuddyX Free covers what most community founders need to launch and grow to their first few hundred members. BuddyX Pro adds an advanced header builder with mega menus, deeper customization for multi-vendor storefronts, more starter packs for specific niches, advanced member directory filtering, and email support from the build team.

07 Can I change the colours, fonts, and layout myself?
Yes. Everything happens inside WordPress. Pick your colours, choose fonts, change the header style, set the footer columns, swap layouts, all with live preview. Most founders never write a line of CSS.

08 How do I install BuddyX?
Three ways. From your WordPress admin, go to Themes, click Add New, search BuddyX, and Install. Or download the .zip from WordPress.org and upload it the same way. Or run the one-click demo importer which installs BuddyX plus a matching starter pack for community, course, marketplace, or membership sites.

09 Does BuddyX support translations and right-to-left languages?
Yes. Arabic, Hebrew, and other right-to-left scripts render correctly. The theme is translated into 8 languages on WordPress.org, with community contributors keeping them up to date. If your language is missing, you can translate it yourself with any free translation tool.

10 Where do I get help?
Free users can ask on the WordPress.org BuddyX forum and on the GitHub repository. Pro users get email support directly from the team that builds BuddyX, with faster responses for edge cases.
