The market is full of shops that assemble sites from other people's plugins and hand over whatever the page builder produced. That is fine until the site needs to do something the plugin authors did not anticipate, and then the bill arrives as a rebuild. What moves the number

- State of what exists Greenfield is predictable. Inherited code without tests carries discovery cost before a single feature lands, and that is worth knowing up front.
- Integrations and data Every third-party system, payment flow or custom data model adds edge cases, and edge cases are where estimates go wrong.

What counts as WordPress development services?
Anything beyond installing a theme and configuring plugins. Custom plugins, custom themes, WooCommerce work, REST API endpoints, multisite networks, community and LMS platforms, headless front ends, migrations, performance and security work, and ongoing maintenance. If it needs a developer rather than an administrator, it is on this list.

Do you work with our existing WordPress site, or only new builds?
Both. A lot of our work is inherited code: someone built it, it mostly works, and now it needs to do more or stop breaking. We audit what is there before proposing changes, and we say plainly when the honest answer is a rebuild rather than another patch.

Can you work alongside our in-house team?
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. We join your code review and deploy process rather than working around it. Some clients use us as senior backup to a capable team that is simply at capacity.

What if we are not sure what we need yet?
That is normal for a request this broad, and it is what the discovery call is for. We will tell you which of the services above actually fits, and we will say so when the work does not need us at all.

Do you take small projects?
Yes. An hourly block exists precisely for work that does not justify a full scoping exercise. If the job is genuinely a one-hour fix we will tell you that rather than scoping it into something larger.

Maintenance is the exception, because it is a fixed monthly service rather than a scoped build, and its tiers are listed on its own page.
