We are our own hardest client
We ship over 100 WordPress products used on hundreds of thousands of sites, and we maintain every one of them. Your project is not where we learn how WordPress behaves at scale.
No experimenting on your budget.
Engagement WordPress Development
Plugins, themes, WooCommerce, communities, LMS, headless front ends and the ongoing work that keeps them alive. Over 100 products in production, a written scope before any code, and a fixed price that does not move unless you change it.
The deferred row is the useful part. Naming what is not in this phase is what keeps the price fixed.
Why this matters
The market is full of shops that assemble sites from other people's plugins and hand over whatever the page builder produced. That is fine until the site needs to do something the plugin authors did not anticipate, and then the bill arrives as a rebuild. We ship and maintain over 100 WordPress products ourselves, which means we carry the cost of our own bad decisions for years. It makes us conservative about the right things and aggressive about the rest.
Where to start
"WordPress development" covers a dozen different jobs. Find the line closest to your situation. If none of them fit, the discovery call sorts it out faster than a form will.
How we work
Senior engineers who ship their own products, a scope agreed before code, production standards from commit one, and a handoff that leaves your team able to maintain the result.

Discovery produces a scope you approve. The scope produces a fixed price. Neither moves unless you change what you asked for.
Budget you can take to a board.
03
WPCS, PHPStan level 5, PHPUnit in CI, escaping, sanitization, capability and nonce checks. Every change goes through staging.
Passes a security audit without a scramble.
04
Documented code, a deploy runbook, and a walkthrough at handoff. We would rather you did not need us for routine changes.
You own the code at the end.
05
When the right answer is Laravel behind WordPress, or an Astro front end, or an automation instead of a feature, we can build that too rather than talking you out of it.
The stack fits the problem.
06
Basecamp, a written update every week, and access to the work in progress from day one. No surveillance, no surprises at the end of a sprint.
You always know where it stands.
100+
WordPress plugins and themes shipped and maintained in production
Across the WordPress.org repository and our own store, with over 100,000 active installs. We have been doing this since 2013.
What it costs
The same one-line brief can describe a two-week job or a two-quarter one. Rather than publish a rate that would be wrong for most people, here is what actually moves the number and how quickly you get a real one.
What moves the number
Small, well-defined work is usually better handled as an hourly block than scoped as a project, and we will say so rather than inflate it into one.

Common questions
Anything beyond installing a theme and configuring plugins. Custom plugins, custom themes, WooCommerce work, REST API endpoints, multisite networks, community and LMS platforms, headless front ends, migrations, performance and security work, and ongoing maintenance. If it needs a developer rather than an administrator, it is on this list.
Both. A lot of our work is inherited code: someone built it, it mostly works, and now it needs to do more or stop breaking. We audit what is there before proposing changes, and we say plainly when the honest answer is a rebuild rather than another patch.
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. We join your code review and deploy process rather than working around it. Some clients use us as senior backup to a capable team that is simply at capacity.
That is normal for a request this broad, and it is what the discovery call is for. We will tell you which of the services above actually fits, and we will say so when the work does not need us at all.
Yes. An hourly block exists precisely for work that does not justify a full scoping exercise. If the job is genuinely a one-hour fix we will tell you that rather than scoping it into something larger.
Development is estimated against your scope rather than sold at a list price, because the same one-line description covers very different builds. The section above sets out what moves the number. Maintenance is the exception, because it is a fixed monthly service rather than a scoped build, and its tiers are listed on its own page.

Not sure which service you need?
Discovery call is free. Written scope within a week, fixed-price quote with it. We will say so if the work does not need us.
WBComDesigns is amazing. The WP plugins and themes are of top notch quality with lots of features and updated very frequently. Supports are very responsive and helpful. I use Reign with TutorLMS, and the experience is surprisingly smooth.…
