Digital marketing for product companies, not lead gen mills.

SEO, content, lifecycle, and community channels run by a team that ships products. We work with SaaS, plugin makers, developer tools, and AI companies. We do not work with mass-market consumer brands.

Marketing performance, last 90 days

Why this matters

Most marketing agencies have never shipped a product.

They run the same playbook for an e-commerce store and a developer tool. The results are predictable. We have shipped over 100 WordPress plugins, run 6 product brands of our own, and built marketing programs that survived contact with real product buyers. The strategy you get is grounded in what actually closes, not in what the framework book said should work.

What we build

Marketing programs grounded in product reality.

Strategy from operators who ship product. Channels chosen by ICP, not by trend. Community done credibly. SEO and AI search wired in. Lifecycle that respects the product. Reporting tied to ARR.

01

Strategy from a team that ships product

We run our own product brands. We know what it costs to acquire a developer, what makes a product page convert, what onboarding email actually gets opened. Strategy comes from real data, not from frameworks we read about.

Recommendations grounded in cost-per-acquisition reality.

02

Channels chosen by ICP, not by trend

Reddit and Hacker News when your buyer reads them. LinkedIn when they do not. Niche forums when that is where the discussion lives. We pick channels based on where your real buyers spend time, not where the marketing podcast said to be.

Marketing budget concentrated where it produces leads.

03

Community presence done credibly

Showing up in Reddit, GitHub, Discord, and niche communities without sounding like a marketer. Founder voice, not brand voice. Real expertise shared, not links dropped.

Brand mentions grow organically, not through bribery.

04

SEO + AI search visibility

Long-tail keyword strategy. Internal linking that compounds. Schema markup. llms.txt for AI search. The next traffic source is AI search referrals; we position you for it now.

05

Lifecycle that respects the product

Onboarding emails triggered by real activation events. Re-engagement based on real inactivity signals. Upsell at moments of actual product success. The marketing matches what the product is actually doing.

Activation rate climbs measurably.

06

Reporting tied to ARR, not impressions

Monthly reports tied to MRR/ARR impact. Weekly operational dashboards on what to double down on. Decisions made on revenue, not on engagement vanity metrics.

Process

How a marketing engagement runs.

01

Audit + plan

Two weeks. ICP audit, channel audit, competitive landscape, content gap analysis, 90-day plan tied to a real ARR goal. You approve before we execute.

Plan grounded in your data.

02

Execute

Ongoing monthly. Content, lifecycle, community presence, SEO, AI search optimization. Weekly check-ins, monthly reporting tied to MRR impact.

Compounding wins month over month.

03

Measure + adjust

Quarterly review tied to ARR. What worked, what did not, what to double down on, what to retire. Strategy adjusts based on real data.

Marketing budget allocated by what closes.

Common questions

Frequently asked

  1. Are you a generalist marketing agency?

No. We work with product companies (SaaS, WordPress plugins and themes, developer tools, AI products, infrastructure). Our team has shipped over 100 plugins, runs 6 product brands, and has been embedded in the WordPress and developer ecosystem since 2013. If your buyer is a non-technical mass-market consumer, we are probably not the best fit.

  2. Do you run paid ads?

We can run Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta, and Reddit Ads when they fit. We do not push paid ads as the answer to every question. For most product companies, organic and lifecycle compound better than paid for the first 18 months.

  3. How long until we see results?

SEO and content compound starting month 3 to 6. Lifecycle email improvements ship in weeks. Community presence takes 6 to 12 months to show real ROI. Marketing for product companies is a 12 to 24 month commitment to compound.

  4. Can we hire just one piece (SEO, lifecycle, community)?

Yes. Many clients start with a single channel and expand once they see the data. We do not require a full bundle commitment. We do require that the channel makes sense for your stage and ICP.

  5. Do you work with seed-stage startups?

Sometimes. Our typical client is past product-market fit and ready to scale acquisition. Pre-PMF startups usually need product work more than marketing work. We will say so on the discovery call.

  6. What does it cost?

Digital marketing engagements are scope-dependent for a one-time strategic audit and 90-day plan. Ongoing retainers are scope-dependent based on channel scope and content volume. Discovery call is free.
