Logo files

Four files cover almost every use.

PNG with transparent background plus a PDF source file. Pick the version that matches the luminance of the background, or grab the PDF for print pieces.

Brand colors

Three core values cover the website and every product UI.

The hex codes below match the CSS custom properties exported from the Wbcom Designs design system. Use these values directly; do not eyeball.

--color-brand

Wbcom Blue

#1C55E9

Primary brand color. Used for links, primary buttons, and accent rules.

--color-accent

Signal Amber

#FFAD0D

Accent color. Used sparingly for highlights, badges, and the occasional pull quote.

--color-ink

Deep Ink

#001241

Heading and dark-section background. Replaces pure black across the brand system.

Usage guidelines

Three rules that cover almost every case.

Stick to these and the brand reads correctly in print, on screen, and on social. Email press if your use case sits outside them.

01

Clear space

Keep a minimum padding equal to the height of the W mark around every side of the logo. Avoid placing text or graphics inside that clear space. The wordmark loses legibility when something crowds it from the right edge in particular.

One W-height of padding on every side, minimum.

02

Minimum size

The horizontal logo stays legible down to 120 pixels wide on screen and 30mm in print. Below that, use just the W mark on its own. Do not stretch, condense, rotate, or skew the logo in any direction.

120px web minimum, 30mm print minimum.

03

Color usage

Use the dark logo on light backgrounds at 70% or higher luminance. Use the light logo on dark backgrounds at 30% or lower luminance. Do not recolor the logo in brand or accent colors, and do not place it on photographs without a solid backplate.

Two versions, one rule each.

What not to do

Six common mistakes to avoid.

Each one comes from a real incident we have seen in the wild. Following these six keeps the brand consistent across press hits, partner pages, and conference programs.

01

Do not recolor the logo

The logo ships in two color versions and that is the full palette. Do not tint the logo brand blue, accent amber, or any other custom color. If the background is the wrong luminance for the version you have, switch to the other version.

Two versions, no custom tints.

02

Do not distort proportions

Do not stretch, condense, rotate, skew, or warp the logo in any direction. The horizontal lockup is the only lockup. The mark on its own is fine at small sizes; everything else is off-limits.

Horizontal lockup only.

03

No drop shadows or effects

Do not add drop shadows, glows, outer strokes, inner strokes, or 3D effects. The logo is a flat 2D mark and stays that way across every surface, including dark mode and high-contrast environments.

Flat 2D only.

04

Solid backplate required on photos

Do not place the logo directly on a photograph without a solid backplate behind it. The visual noise of a photo will fight the wordmark. Use a rectangle in the brand-ink or brand-light shade as the backplate.

Photos: add a backplate.

05

Do not lock up with other marks

Do not directly conjoin the Wbcom logo with another company's wordmark. If a partnership lockup is needed, add a clear divider (a vertical rule, an x, or a plus) and equal padding around each mark.

Partner lockups need a divider.

06

Use the current files

The files on this page are the current ones. Older versions of the logo from 2018-2022 are out of date and should not appear in new material. If you find an outdated lockup anywhere, email press to flag it.

This page is the source of truth.

Naming and contact

Spelling, capitalisation, and press queries.

Two practical notes for press and partner teams putting Wbcom Designs in copy or contacting us for assets.

01

Naming and spelling

Refer to the company as "Wbcom Designs" in copy. "Wbcom" on its own is the short form and is acceptable on second reference. Do not write WBCom, WBcom, or W-Bcom. The W is capitalised, the rest is lowercase, and there is no hyphen.

Wbcom Designs / Wbcom. Capital W only.

02
