How to Add a Second Point Type in WB Gamification

One kind of point can only say so much. Add a second point type, such as gems, and set fair rules for converting between them. You need the free WB Gamification plugin, installed and active. It takes about a minute. It shows steps three and four of the full video, Let members spend their points.

Step three. Add a second point type. Open Point Types. Existing Types lists what you have, such as Points and Gems. Add New Point Type takes a Slug and a Label. Make default picks the main one. Click Create Point Type to add it.

Step four. Convert between point types. Open Conversions. Active Rules shows each rate. Add Conversion Rule takes a From and a To type. Minimum, Cooldown and Daily cap keep conversions fair.
