How to Edit a Post That Is Already Published in WB Member Blog
How to edit a post that is already published, with WB Member Blog, step by step. Open My Blog Dashboard, find the post on the Published tab and click Edit. The writing page shows the post as Live, with a link to it and when it last changed. Change the title, the words, the category, the tags or the featured image, then click Update at the foot of the form to save your changes to the live post. Unpublish, beside it, is a separate button that takes the post down and asks you first, so editing never does that by accident.

In this tutorial you will open a post that is already published, and see how to change it. You need the free WB Member Blog plugin, installed and active, and a role that may write. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. Find your post. Change the words and settings. Update it. Then see it live.
Step one. Find your post. Open My Blog Dashboard. The Published tab lists every post of yours that is live. Each row has an Edit button. Click Edit on the post you want to change. The post opens in the writing page.
Step two. Change the words and settings. The top line says the post is Live. It links to the post and shows when it last changed. Click in the title or in the words to change them, the same way you wrote them. The category, tags and featured image are in Post settings. Change them in the same way.
Step three. Update it. At the foot of the form, the main button reads Update. It saves your changes to the live post. Unpublish, beside it, is a separate button that takes the post down. It asks you first, so editing never does that by accident.
Step four. See it live. The post keeps the same page on your site, and readers see the updated version. You can return to it from the Published tab whenever you want to change it again.
That is all four. Your post found on the dashboard, its words and settings changed, Update, and the post live. You can now keep a published post up to date. Next in this series: Unpublish or delete a post.
