In this tutorial you will preview a post as readers will see it, and write with nothing else on the screen. You need the free WB Member Blog plugin, installed and active, and a role that may write. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. Open a post. Preview it. Go back to writing. Then write without distractions.

Step one. Open a post. This is a draft from the Drafts tab, open in the writing page, with its title, words, tags and image. Both tools in this tutorial work the same way on a new post.

Step two. Preview it. Beside the main button at the foot of the form is Preview. Click it. A window opens with the post as it will read: the image, the title, the category, your words and your tags. Looking costs nothing. Nothing is saved or published by opening the preview.

Step three. Go back to writing. Open the preview again. At the foot of the window are two buttons, Close and Continue Editing. Click Continue Editing. The window closes and you are back in the form, with everything as you left it.

Step four. Write without distractions. Next to the word count is a button for distraction-free writing. Click it. The site menu and the sidebars disappear, and only your title and your words stay, with a close button at the top right. Click the close button to come back to the full form.

That is all four. A post opened, the preview, back to writing, and distraction-free writing. You can now check a post before it goes out. Next in this series: Edit a post that is already published.
