Careers Lucknow, India
We build WordPress products, Laravel SaaS, Astro storefronts, and AI automation. 100+ plugins shipping, 100,000+ active installs, 13 years in market. Open roles below.
Wbcom Designs is a product engineering team that ships across every layer of the modern WordPress stack and beyond. We have been at it for over a decade, and the same people have stayed for most of it. We are hiring because the product line is widening faster than the team is.
All roles are based out of our Lucknow office. We work alongside contractors and customers worldwide, but the core team is in India. Six open roles below; pick the one that fits or write to us if your strength is something we have not posted.

Compensation, statutory benefits, culture, and the operational practices that make this a place people stay for years.
01
Performance bonus, anniversary gifts, home office setup allowance, and a culture that recognises long-term contribution. The same people have worked here for years; turnover is unusually low.
Recognition that compounds.
02
We are one of the established WordPress companies in the BuddyPress and WooCommerce ecosystem, behind 100+ shipping plugins. You work on production code that real customers depend on, not throwaway client builds.
Production code, real impact.
03
Monday to Friday work week. We believe in work-life balance and your priorities outside work. Late-night heroics are an emergency, not a culture.

Regular team activities and knowledge-sharing sessions. It is WE not I when it comes to company success. Imparting our core values into how the team works together.
Activities and knowledge shares.
How the team works
Beyond benefits and salary, these are the operational habits that decide whether you will like working here.
01
Every customer-facing engagement is led by a senior engineer. Junior engineers pair on the work and review PRs alongside seniors. We do not staff client projects with juniors alone, and we do not hand off to offshore juniors after the sales call.
Pair-and-mentor by default.
02
Every product ships with documentation. Every plugin has a docs site. Every customer support ticket either resolves a question that is in the docs or generates new docs. Writing skills are valued at every level.
Docs are part of every release.
03
We run on Basecamp + written weekly status reports + scoped 30-minute calls. We are not a Slack-all-day shop. Most decisions happen async with the reasoning in writing, so the audit trail is searchable years later.
Decisions captured in writing.
