In this tutorial you will comment on a member's post, and reply to another reader. You need the free WB Member Blog plugin, and a post that takes comments. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. Find the comments. Read the conversation. Write a comment. Then reply to a comment.
Step one. Find the comments. Signed in as a member, open a post and scroll past the article and the related posts. The comments start under this heading.
Step two. Read the conversation. Each comment shows who wrote it and when. A reply sits under the comment it answers. Here the writer, Sara, answered a reader's question.
Step three. Write a comment. Under the comments is Leave a Reply. Type your comment in the box. Then click Post Comment. Your comment appears under the post. The writer decides whether a post takes comments, with Allow comments on this post on the writing page. When it is off, this form is not shown.
Step four. Reply to a comment. Under each comment is Reply. Click it. The form moves under that comment, and its title says who you are replying to. Type, then click Post Comment. Changed your mind? Cancel reply puts the form back.
That is all four. The comments found, the conversation read, a comment written, and a reply. You can now join the conversation under any post. Next in this series: Browse a topic hub.
