How to Choose Who Hears About Posts Awaiting Review in WB Member Blog
How to choose who is emailed when a member post waits for review, with WB Member Blog Pro, step by step. Open WB Plugins, then Member Blog, then Notifications (the Notifications module is on by default). Admin Notifications emails the reviewers when a member submits a post for review; it matters when Publish immediately on the Access tab is off. Under Select Admin User(s), add the administrators who should get that email, or remove one with its cross. With nobody picked, every administrator who can review gets it, which is also what the free plugin does on its own. Member Notification emails the writer when their post is approved and published. Both start on. Click Save Settings. Each email can also be switched off on the Notification Emails tab.

In this tutorial you will choose who is emailed when a member post waits for review, and whether writers hear when it is approved. You need WB Member Blog Pro, with its Notifications module on, as it is on a new site. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. Open Notifications. Email the reviewers. Choose who gets it. Then tell writers when it is approved.
Step one. Open Notifications. Go to WB Plugins, then Member Blog, then Notifications. These are emails. Each one can also be switched off on the Notification Emails tab, and members can stop them from the link in each email.
Step two. Email the reviewers. Admin Notifications sends an email when a member submits a post for review. It only matters when posts wait for review, which is when Publish immediately on the Access tab is off.
Step three. Choose who gets it. Select Admin User(s) holds the administrators who get the email, here Community Team. Click the box to add another, or the cross to remove one. Pick nobody, and every administrator who can review gets it. That is also what the free plugin does on its own.
Step four. Tell writers when it is approved. Member Notification emails the writer when their post is approved and published. Both switches start on. Then click Save Settings.
That is all four. Notifications, emailing the reviewers, choosing who gets it, and telling writers when it is approved. The right people now hear about posts waiting for review. Next in this series: Let members choose their emails.
