How to Choose the Dashboard Tabs Members See in WB Member Blog
How the site owner chooses which Pro tabs and settings writers see on My Blog Dashboard, with WB Member Blog Pro, step by step. Open WB Plugins, then Member Blog, then Author Dashboard (the Author Dashboard module is on by default; with it on, each writer's dashboard gets a Settings tab). Under Visible sub-tabs, Notifications adds the email choices to the Settings tab, Analytics adds the Analytics tab with post views, traffic sources and top posts, and Co-Authors adds invitations and co-written posts to Settings. All three start on, and each also needs its own module on. Switch one off to hide it, then click Save Settings. A writer then sees the Analytics tab and the Settings tab, with Notifications and Co-Authors inside Settings; Series appears there too while the Post Series module is on.

In this tutorial you will choose which tabs and settings writers see on their blog dashboard. You need WB Member Blog Pro, with its Author Dashboard module on, as it is on a new site. It takes about two minutes. There are three steps. Open Author Dashboard. Choose the tabs. Then see them as a member.
Step one. Open Author Dashboard. Go to WB Plugins, then Member Blog, then Author Dashboard. With this module on, each writer's blog dashboard gets a Settings tab. Here you choose what goes on it.
Step two. Choose the tabs. Notifications adds the email choices to the Settings tab. Analytics adds the Analytics tab, with post views, traffic sources and top posts. Co-Authors adds invitations and co-written posts to Settings. All three start on, and each also needs its own module on. Switch one off to hide it, then click Save Settings.
Step three. See them as a member. On My Blog Dashboard, this writer has the Analytics tab and the Settings tab. Inside Settings are Notifications and Co-Authors. Series appears there too, while the Post Series module is on.
That is all three. Author Dashboard, the tabs you choose, and what a member sees. Writers now see only the tabs you want them to. Next in this series: Invite a co-author to a post.
