In this tutorial you will look after your members in WB Gamification, with their history, privacy choices and access. You need the free WB Gamification plugin, installed and active. It takes about four minutes. There are four steps. Find a member in Members. Keep people out of the game. Choose what profiles show. Then export a member's data. A member asks why they have so few points. You need an answer quickly. One screen shows each member, with their level and badges, and lets you award, exclude or reset them.

Step one. Find a member in Members. Search by name, username or email. Each row shows Points, Level, Badges and Status. Award gives points, Exclude removes them from the game, and Reset points clears their score.

Step two. Keep people out of the game. Click Access. Excluded roles lists roles that never earn, such as Administrator. Excluded accounts takes names, emails or IDs for single people, such as a support bot. Staff permissions chooses which of your team can award, moderate or see analytics.

Step three. Choose what profiles show. Click Habits and Profiles. Public Profiles lets other people see a member's points, badges and rank. Turn it off to keep every profile private. Slug base sets the start of the profile address.

Step four. Export a member's data. When a member asks for their data, open Tools, then Export Personal Data. Enter their email and send the request. WB Gamification adds their points, badges and history to the export.

That is all four. A member found, people kept out of the game, profiles chosen, and a member's data exported. You can now look after your members. Next in this series: Make the game look like part of your site.
