In this tutorial you will check that the game keeps members active in WB Gamification, and learn the maintenance tools. You need the free WB Gamification plugin, installed and active. It takes about four minutes. There are three steps. Read the Analytics. Spot members at risk. Then use the Tools. You need to know the game is working, not hope that it is. One screen shows who is active, which streaks hold, and who may be about to leave.

Step one. Read the Analytics. The tiles show Points Awarded, Active Members, Badges Earned and Challenges Completed. Switch between 7 days, 30 days and 90 days to see how it moves. Daily Points Trend shows the rhythm of your community day by day.

Step two. Spot members at risk. Members at churn risk lists people who were active and have gone quiet. Possible gaming activity flags points that look like farming, so you can check before they distort the board.

Step three. Use the Tools. Click Tools. Export settings saves your setup, and Import settings loads it on another site. Under Maintenance, Rebuild leaderboard recalculates the rankings if they ever look wrong. Reset member progress clears every score. Use it only on a test site, after a backup.

That is all three. The Analytics read, members at risk spotted, and the Tools understood. You can now check that your game works. Next in this series: Get a points and badges game running in minutes.
