How to Use Your Blog Dashboard in WB Member Blog
How to use My Blog Dashboard in WB Member Blog, step by step. The dashboard is a member's own blog home. The Published tab lists every post readers can see, with the date it went live, its category and how many times it has been read, and an Edit button and a three-dot menu on each row. The Drafts tab keeps posts you have not sent yet, with the date you last edited them; a draft a reviewer sent back is marked Sent back with the note. The Pending tab holds posts waiting for review when your site checks posts first. Search finds a post by a word, and the list and grid buttons change how the list looks.

In this tutorial you will find your way around My Blog Dashboard, your own blog home. You need the free WB Member Blog plugin, installed and active, and a role that may write. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open My Blog Dashboard. See what is published. Find your drafts. Check what is waiting for review. Then search your posts.
Step one. Open My Blog Dashboard. Signed in as a member, this page is your blog home. It shows only your own posts. The tabs across the top sort your posts: Published, Drafts and Pending, each with a number. Saved and Following hold your reading. Create Post, on the right, opens the writing page for a new post.
Step two. See what is published. The Published tab opens first. It lists every post of yours that readers can see. Each row shows the date it went live, its category and how many times it has been read. Edit opens the post to change it. The button with three dots holds Unpublish and Delete.
Step three. Find your drafts. Click the Drafts tab. Posts you saved but have not sent wait here, and no reader can see them. Each draft shows when you last edited it. Click Edit to carry on writing. A draft that a reviewer sent back is marked Sent back, with the note saying what to change.
Step four. Check what is waiting for review. Click the Pending tab. When your site checks posts before they go live, the posts you send wait here, with the date you submitted them. Once a reviewer approves one, it moves to Published.
Step five. Search your posts. Type a word in the search box under the tabs and press Enter. The list shows only the posts in this tab that match. The cross beside the box clears the search. The two buttons on the right switch between a list and a grid. This browser remembers the one you chose.
That is all five. Your blog home, the Published tab, your drafts, posts waiting for review, and search. You now know where every one of your posts lives. Next in this series: Find your posts on your BuddyNext profile.
