How to fix a post that was sent back, and submit it again, with WB Member Blog, step by step. When your site checks posts before they go live, a reviewer can send a post back with a note. It returns to the Drafts tab of My Blog Dashboard, marked Sent back with the start of the note. Click Edit: the top of the writing page says who sent it back and when, with the full note. Make the changes, then click Submit for Review at the foot of the form. The post waits on the Pending tab until a reviewer approves it, then it moves to Published.

In this tutorial you will fix a post that a reviewer sent back to you, and send it for review again. You need the free WB Member Blog plugin, installed and active, on a site that checks posts before they go live. It takes about two minutes. There are five steps. Find the post that was sent back. Read what to change. Make the changes. Submit it again. Then check where it waits.
Step one. Find the post that was sent back. Open My Blog Dashboard and click the Drafts tab. A post a reviewer sent back is here, marked Sent back. The start of the reviewer's note is under the title. Click Edit to open the post.
Step two. Read what to change. At the top of the writing page, the box says who sent the post back, and when. Under it is the full note. Here the reviewer asks for a featured image, and a line under each font.
Step three. Make the changes. Your title and words are all here. Click in the post and edit it, the same way you wrote it. The featured image the reviewer asked for goes in Post settings, under Category, tags and image.
Step four. Submit it again. At the foot of the form, the main button reads Submit for Review. Click it when the changes are done. The post goes back to the reviewer. Save Draft, beside it, keeps your changes with you if you are not ready yet.
Step five. Check where it waits. A post you submit leaves Drafts and waits on the Pending tab, like this one, until a reviewer approves it. Once it is approved, it moves to Published and readers can see it.
That is all five. The sent-back post found, the note read, the changes made, the post submitted again, and where it waits. You can now answer a reviewer and get your post published. Next in this series: Feature a member post.
