If Jetpack is already on your site for backups, stats or security, this is the zero-cost way to get a Reddit share button. Version 16.1.2 shipped in August 2026.
Key features: official Reddit share button, a block-based sharing layout, and Jetpack Social for auto-posting to other networks (Reddit is not among Jetpack Social’s auto-post targets, only the share buttons).
Pros: maintained by Automattic, one plugin for many jobs, no API keys needed for share buttons.
Cons: heavy if you only want a button, requires a WordPress.com connection, and no Reddit auto-posting.
2. Reddit for WooCommerce
This is the official integration, published by WooCommerce, and it did not exist when this list was first written. It connects a store to a Reddit Business account, installs the Reddit Pixel, sends purchase events through the Conversions API so tracking survives ad blockers and cookie restrictions, and syncs the product catalogue for Dynamic Product Ads. It has passed 80,000 active installs in a short time and version 1.0.5 landed on 19 August 2026.

Pros: free, official, and the only sane way to run Reddit Ads for a WooCommerce store.

3. Radle: Reddit Comments Engine
Radle replaces the “WP Reddit Embed” entry from the old list, which is no longer in the directory. Pros: Reddit is free, the calendar view is the best of the auto-posters, and it is updated constantly.
Cons: the free plan caps the number of connected accounts and posts per day; Premium pricing is on the vendor site rather than the plugin page.
6. NextScripts SNAP (Social Networks Auto Poster)
SNAP is the veteran auto-poster and still one of the few that handles Reddit properly, including posting as a link or a self-post with custom title templates. Version 4.4.8 is from August 2026. The free plugin covers one Reddit account; the Pro add-on adds multiple accounts and subreddits per post.

The last release was September 2025, which is older than the rest of this list but still within a year and it remains widely used (100,000+ installs).

Cons: slower update cadence, and the premium add-ons are sold separately.
10. Monarch Social Sharing Plugin
Monarch is Elegant Themes’ premium sharing plugin and comes with the Divi membership ($89 per year or $249 lifetime for unlimited sites). Reddit is one of its 20+ networks. You get floating sidebars, inline buttons, pop-ups and fly-ins triggered by scroll or time, and a stats dashboard.

Pros: the best-looking buttons of the group, and effectively free if you already pay for Divi.

Plugins Removed From This List
For transparency, here is what came off and why. Reddit Widget was last updated in 2009 and tested with WordPress 2.7. WP Reddit Embed, Reddit Social Login, Reddit Widget Pro and WordPress Reddit Submit Button no longer appear in the WordPress.org directory under those names. Custom Share Buttons with Floating Sidebar still exists but has not been updated since September 2023. Revive Social is alive and well, but Reddit is not in its listed network set, so Blog2Social took its place.
Which Should You Pick
Start with one share-button plugin: AddToAny if you want light and free, Sassy if you run BuddyPress, Monarch if you already have Divi, Jetpack if it is already installed. That covers the basic “let readers post this to Reddit” case for every site.
