In this tutorial you will make badges worth showing off in WB Gamification, with anniversary badges and a share page. You need the free WB Gamification plugin, installed and active. It takes about four minutes. There are three steps. Switch on tenure and first-time badges. Let members share a badge. Then see the badge share page. Your long-term members are your best members, and they rarely hear a thank you. Anniversary badges and a page to share tell them you noticed, and they tell others.

Step one. Switch on tenure and first-time badges. Click Modules. Under Background features, find Tenure badges. Site-first badges go to the first member ever to do something. Badge sharing makes public share cards. All three are on here. Untick any you do not want, then click Save Modules.

Step two. Let members share a badge. A member opens My Badges. Each earned badge has a Share button. A badge stays private until the member presses it.

Step three. See the badge share page. Once shared, a badge has its own public page that anyone can open. It shows the badge and who earned it, with Copy link and Add to LinkedIn profile.

That is all three. Tenure and first-time badges switched on, a badge shared, and its page seen. Your members now have badges worth showing off. Next in this series: Bring members back every day.
