In this tutorial you will show each member their year in review in WB Gamification, on one card they can share. You need the free WB Gamification plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are three steps. Add the Year Recap block. See a year as a member. Then share the year. Members forget how much they did over a year. Your best people rarely see it added up. A year in review shows them, on one card, and gives them a reason to share it.
Step one. Add the Year Recap block. This page, My year, holds one block, Year in Community Recap. Select the block. Year picks which year to show. Left at zero, it shows the year before, which suits a recap in January. Show badges, Show kudos and Show share button choose what the card holds. Then click Save.
Step two. See a year as a member. Hana sees her year: Points Earned, Actions, Challenges and Badges. Community Rank and Kudos Received show where she stands and who thanked her. Peak Week marks her busiest week, and Most Active lists what she did most.
Step three. Share the year. At the bottom of the card is Share Your Year. It copies a link to the card, ready to post anywhere, and brings new people to your community.
That is all three. The Year Recap block added, a year seen as a member, and the year shared. Every member now has a year to look back on. Next in this series: Everything you can do with WB Gamification.
