In this tutorial you will let members thank each other in WB Gamification, with limits and moderation. You need the free WB Gamification plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are three steps. Give kudos. Set the kudos limits. Then moderate kudos. People stay in communities where they feel appreciated. Thanks usually goes unsaid. Kudos makes saying thank you easy, and worth a few points to both people.

Step one. Give kudos. A member picks a Recipient and can add a Message. Then they click Send Kudos, and the points go to both of them. Every thank you then appears under Recent thank-yous, for the whole community to see.

Step two. Set the kudos limits. Click Kudos. Kudos per day that earn points caps how many count. Points per kudos received and Points per kudos given set what each side earns. Then click Save Changes.

Step three. Moderate kudos. Open Kudos Moderation. Every kudos shows the giver, the receiver and the message. Filter by From member, To member or date to spot two people trading kudos to farm points. Revoke takes a kudos back.

That is all three. Kudos given, the limits set, and kudos moderated. Your members can now thank each other. Next in this series: Reward what the rules cannot see.
