New
- Bundled translations for Arabic, German, German (formal), Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch. These are a machine-translated first pass rather than a reviewed translation; refine them per site in Loco Translate.
Fix
- Saving the TutorLMS settings tab no longer wipes every other Reign addon's settings when Reign is not the active theme. The handler now reads the shared reign_options fresh and updates only the tutorlms section instead of writing back the theme-populated global.
- Translations now load on init instead of plugins_loaded, so WordPress 6.7+ no longer warns that translations loaded too early.
- The licence key field is no longer passed through a translation function, and the licence admin page strings are now translatable.
Security
- Added direct-access guards to every PHP file that lacked one.
- The profile URL check reads REQUEST_URI unslashed and sanitized, and the tab-state index is unslashed before casting.
- Escaped the course-count text, the "No categories found" message, and the category "Courses" label on the course and category shortcodes.
Compat
- The plugin header now declares Requires at least WordPress 6.5 and Requires PHP 8.0; it previously declared neither, so WordPress had nothing to enforce. Tested up to WordPress 7.0. A site below either floor is now refused the update instead of fataling on it. Check the PHP version on older sites before advising a customer to update.
Note
- The [reign_course_categories] shortcode bounds count="0" (previously unlimited) to a filterable maximum, so a site with thousands of course categories no longer loads them all; the default count of 8 and any explicit count are unchanged.
