New
- Bundled translations for Arabic, German, German (formal), Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch. These are a machine-translated first pass rather than a reviewed translation; refine them per site in Loco Translate.
Fix
- Saving the GeoDirectory settings tab no longer wipes other Reign addons' settings when Reign is not the active theme; the handler reads the shared reign_options fresh and updates only the GeoDirectory keys.
- The Places layout default is validated against the layouts the UI actually offers, repairing sites that stored an invalid value.
- Activation can no longer write an invalid value into the shared reign_options.
- Restored the text-domain loader so the addon's bundled /languages translations apply (loaded on init, so no WordPress 6.7+ "loaded too early" notice).
- The "My places" profile menu label is now translatable.
Security
- The settings save checks capability before the nonce, and direct-access guards were added to the files that lacked them.
- Escaped the location link, title attribute, and title text in the new-location activity string.
Compat
- Requires at least is now WordPress 6.5 (was 4.6) and Requires PHP is now 8.0 (previously undeclared). Tested up to WordPress 7.0. Both floors are declared in the plugin header, so a site below them is refused the update instead of fataling on it. Check the PHP version on older sites before advising a customer to update.
Note
- The PeepSo "My places" listing is now paginated with a filterable page size, so a profile with many listings no longer loads them all at once.
