The situation
LatinHire is a staffing company for the education sector. It finds subject experts, mostly online tutors, for education companies, and says it has worked with tutors living in more than 50 countries. Most of its candidates are Spanish or Portuguese speakers who need to read about the work, check they qualify and apply, in their own language.
The website is the front door for all of it. If a page fails to load or an application does not go through, a tutor the company spent effort to reach is lost. It is not a large site, but it has to be there every day and work in three languages.
Where we started
We have looked after the site for about six years. One of the larger pieces was a hiring platform for Latin America in 2022, built with the company’s team. Since then the company comes to us when it needs a change, a fix or advice, and we keep the rest running.
What we do
- Three languages, one site. English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, with a language switcher and correct language signals for search engines, so each audience finds its own version.
- A clear path to apply. Landing pages for the main tutor roles (maths, science, business, English), an FAQ that answers the usual questions, and an Apply button on every page.
- Content that keeps the site found. A blog with guides for online teachers, kept in order alongside the main pages.
- Care and updates. WordPress, theme and plugin updates, and fixes when something stops working, plus advice when the company needs it.
What it makes possible
A recruiting funnel that stays open. Tutors in three languages can read, qualify and apply any day, and the company has a team it can ask whenever the site needs something.
