PeepSo · Easy Digital Downloads

Your EDD store and your PeepSo community behave like strangers.

Every purchase posts to the feed. Checkout and order history sit on the member profile.

Easy Digital Downloads and PeepSo run as two separate systems by default. PeepSo EDD Integration writes a community activity when a payment completes, and puts EDD checkout and purchase history on member profile tabs. You set the wording of what gets published.

Requires Easy Digital Downloads and PeepSo · Two profile tabs, both optional

How it works

One purchase, two places it shows up.

The integration touches two surfaces and leaves the rest of your store alone: the activity stream everybody reads, and the profile each buyer comes back to.

  1. 01

A member pays for a download

Checkout runs on your normal store pages, or inside the profile if you switch the Checkout tab on. Nothing about the store itself changes.

  2. 02

The purchase posts to the community feed

When the payment lands, a PeepSo activity is written in the wording you set, with a preview of the product attached to it.

  3. 03

The buyer keeps it on their profile

Purchase history lands on a profile tab, so a member can find what they own without hunting for a separate order page.

Admin control

Nothing publishes in a format you did not choose.

  • Every member keeps a switch of their own

When purchase activity is on, each member gets a control under their PeepSo profile settings that decides whether their own orders reach the stream. Buying quietly stays possible.

  • Name the tabs in your community language

The EDD tabs carry whatever label you type. A photography marketplace and a plugin shop do not have to use the same word.

  • Set the wording of the activity itself

The activity text is a field, with tokens for the buyer name, the products, the order total, and the order date. The post reads like your store and not like a system notice.

Built for

Four people care about this, and they care for different reasons.

EDD stores inside a community
Every completed purchase posts into the PeepSo activity stream in your own wording, so buying is something the community sees rather than a silent transaction.
Communities that keep buyers on site
Switch the Checkout tab on and the EDD cart, checkout, and order confirmation render inside the member profile, so a buyer never leaves the community to pay.
Members building a library
Buyers see every download they own on their own profile tab and pick the files up again there, with no separate order lookup.
Admins curating the feed
Turn purchase activity on or off, rename both EDD profile tabs, and set the exact activity wording from one settings screen, without touching a template.

Pricing

Two license tiers, same integration.

Single Site and Developer ship the identical feature set: purchase activity in the feed with your own wording, the EDD Checkout and Purchase History profile tabs, the tab labels, and the per-member activity switch. The tier only controls how many sites your license covers. Both are annual. Read the refund policy.

PeepSo EDD Integration needs both Easy Digital Downloads and PeepSo installed and active.

Before you buy

Questions PeepSo admins ask before they connect EDD.

Answered by the team that builds and supports the integration. Anything else, use the contact page.

  1. 01

Does this require Easy Digital Downloads?

Yes. PeepSo EDD Integration requires both Easy Digital Downloads and PeepSo installed and activated on your site.

  2. 02

    What triggers the activity post?

A completed purchase. When an EDD payment is recorded, the integration writes a PeepSo activity for that buyer with a preview of what they bought attached. Publishing a product does not post anything on its own.

  3. 03

Can I control what the activity post looks like?

Yes. Admins set the activity wording from the plugin's backend settings, using tokens for the buyer name, the product list, the order total, and the order date.

  4. 04

Can a member keep their purchases out of the stream?

Yes. Each member has their own switch under PeepSo profile settings that decides whether their orders are posted as activity.

  5. 05

Where does the EDD checkout appear?

You can switch on an EDD Checkout tab that renders the cart, the checkout, and the order confirmation inside the PeepSo member profile. Leave it off and checkout stays on your normal store pages.

  6. 06

What is the difference between Single Site and Developer?

Single Site covers one site. Developer covers up to five sites, for agencies and developers managing several installs.

  7. 07

What happens if my license expires?

You keep using the plugin, but updates and support stop until you renew.

Put your EDD store on the PeepSo profile.

Install on staging, run one test order, confirm the activity wording and the two profile tabs read the way you want, then move to production. Existing purchase history and products stay exactly where they are.
