Does MediaShield Pro require the free plugin?
Yes. Pro is an add-on that extends the free MediaShield plugin, which must be installed and activated first. Both are on version 1.1.0 and should be updated together.

How does the DRM encryption work?
Pro supports ClearKey DRM via two methods: Bunny Stream automatic cloud packaging and local Shaka Packager for DASH and HLS. Content is encrypted with AES-128 and played back through Shaka Player, with streaming or persistent licenses served behind session checks. This is software DRM. Hardware-backed Widevine L1 is not included.

Which platforms can I upload to from WordPress?
Bunny Stream, Vimeo, YouTube, and Wistia, with resumable uploads and progress tracking. All platform credentials are encrypted with AES-256 using your site's SECURE_AUTH_SALT.

Which LMS plugins does the auto-complete support?
LearnDash, Tutor LMS, and LifterLMS. A linked MediaShield video renders on the lesson page, gates access by enrollment, and auto-completes the lesson when the viewer finishes watching.

What happens to my data if I deactivate Pro?
Your data stays in the database and Pro features fall back to free defaults. Tables are only dropped when you delete the plugin entirely through the WordPress admin.

How do the heatmaps help me improve a video?
