Your wpForo board, open only to the students who enrolled.
Course conversation deserves a real board with topics and replies, not a comment box nobody returns to. LearnDash wpForo attaches one or more LearnDash courses to a wpForo forum, then checks enrollment before anyone reads or posts. Enrollment syncs into a wpForo usergroup as it happens, so the board opens the moment a student is enrolled and closes the moment their access is taken away.

How it works
Four settings stand between a visitor and your course forum.
There is no separate membership layer to configure. The forum reads LearnDash enrollment directly, so the rule you set here is the rule students already live under.
01
Attach the courses to the forum
Open a wpForo forum in the plugin settings and attach one LearnDash course, or several. The join is set per forum, so a beginner board and an advanced board can carry different courses.
02
Pick ALL or ANY
ALL means a student has to be enrolled in every attached course before the board opens. ANY lets them in after one. Advanced boards usually want ALL, a general discussion board wants ANY.
03
Set how private the board is
Automatic reads the LearnDash price type: a closed, pay-now, or subscription course makes the forum private, a free course leaves it public. Override it with always private, public to read with members-only posting, or always public.
04
Decide what everyone else sees
Allow read-only viewing and visitors browse the discussion with the reply box removed. Leave it off and they get the access-denied message you typed, printed as plain text.

Enrollment decides what loads. You set the rule once per forum and the board sorts everyone out from there, whether they arrived from your course page or from a search result.

Your message instead
Gets the message you typed in the settings, in your own words, so a closed board explains itself instead of reading as a broken page.

Course content
1. Choosing a site for the hive
2. Reading the frames
3. Feeding through the first winter
On the course page
Nobody should have to hunt for the discussion.
The Course wpForo Forum widget lists the forums attached to one course, placed right beside that course. Enrolled students see where the conversation is happening without leaving the page they were already on. It reads the course being viewed, so a course sidebar is where it belongs.
The join can be managed from either end. LearnDash courses carry a Course Forums box that links and unlinks boards without opening forum settings at all, and installs running several wpForo boards get the mapping per board rather than one rule for the whole site.

Same forum controls on every tier. Pick your site count.
Personal, Professional, and Agency ship the identical feature set: per-forum course attachment, the ALL or ANY enrollment rule, the four privacy modes, read-only access, the custom access-denied message, automatic wpForo usergroup sync, and the Course wpForo Forum widget. The licence only decides how many sites you can activate it on. Every tier is available annually or as a one-time lifetime licence. Read the refund policy.
LearnDash wpForo needs both LearnDash and wpForo installed and active.
Before you buy
Questions LearnDash schools ask before they lock a forum down.
01
Do I need wpForo installed?
Yes. LearnDash wpForo joins the wpForo forum plugin to LearnDash, so both plugins need to be installed and active.
02
Can I limit a forum to one course or several?
Several, if you want. Attach as many LearnDash courses to a forum as you need, then choose ALL to require enrollment in every one of them, or ANY to let a student in after a single course.
03
What happens to visitors who are not enrolled?
They see an access-denied message you write yourself. It is printed as plain text, so write the instruction in words rather than markup. Read-only access is the other option: the visitor reads the board but cannot post.
04
Can non-enrolled visitors read without replying?
Yes. Read-only mode leaves the discussion visible and withholds posting rights, so the forum still works as proof the course is active while replies stay with paying students.
05
How does a student get access once they enrol?
The plugin keeps a wpForo usergroup for each mapped course and writes the forum permissions itself. Enrolling a student adds them to that usergroup on the same request, whether the enrollment came from a purchase, an admin action, or a LearnDash group, and removing access takes them back out.
06
Can I control how private the board is?
Yes, per forum. Automatic follows the LearnDash price type, so a closed or paid course produces a private forum and a free course stays public. You can also force always private, public reading with members-only posting, or always public.
07
Where does the Course wpForo Forum widget go?
In a widget area on a single course page, next to the course it belongs to. It lists the forums attached to that course as links, so students reach the discussion from the course page itself.
08
How does annual renewal work?
Choose an annual or lifetime licence. Annual renews once a year with a reminder first, and you can cancel any time. A lifetime licence never expires and never needs renewing.
09
What is the difference between the licence tiers?
Nothing in the feature set. Personal covers one site, Professional covers five, and Agency is unlimited. Every tier ships the same forum controls.
10
What if I need something the plugin does not do?
Talk to our team through the support channel, or hire us to build the integration you need on top of it.
Keep the course forum for the people who paid for the course.
Install LearnDash wpForo, attach your courses to a forum, and set the rule once. From the next page load, enrolled students get the board and everyone else gets read-only access or the message you wrote.
