BuddyPress · Dokan, WCFM, WC Vendors, WooCommerce Product Vendors

Your community and your marketplace run as two separate sites.

Vendors sell inside Dokan, WCFM, WC Vendors, or WooCommerce Product Vendors. The conversation happens over in BuddyPress, with nothing joining the two. BuddyVendor links BuddyPress and BuddyBoss profiles to the marketplace, so a vendor's catalog sits on the profile members already visit, and marketplace events land in the activity feed as they happen.

BuddyPress + BuddyBoss Platform · One integration, four marketplace plugins

How it works

A listing in the marketplace becomes a post in the community.

Marketplace catalogs are quiet places. The community is not. BuddyVendor moves marketplace events into the feed, so members find products through people they already follow.

  1. 01

A vendor publishes in the marketplace

Nothing changes in the selling workflow. Vendors keep listing products through Dokan, WCFM, WC Vendors, or WooCommerce Product Vendors exactly as they do today.

  2. 02

    BuddyVendor writes the activity entry

Every new product listing and every new product review generates a BuddyPress activity entry, so marketplace movement shows up where the community is already looking.

  3. 03

A completed order can post as well

When a member reaches the order-received page, BuddyVendor can post an order entry carrying the products that were bought. Several products in one order render as a slider inside the entry, so a full basket stays one readable post rather than a wall of links. It takes two switches to run: the site owner turns order activity on in admin, and each member decides whether their own purchases are announced.

  4. 04

    Members open the vendor profile

The entry links back to a profile that now carries the vendor catalog on its own Product tab, instead of pushing members off to a separate store page.

Works with your marketplace

Four marketplace plugins, one profile integration.

BuddyVendor connects to whichever multi-vendor plugin the marketplace already runs on. You are not choosing a stack to get the community integration.

  • Dokan

Vendor products and reviews sync to the BuddyPress profile and the activity feed. Dokan store pages also carry a button that opens a private message to the vendor.

  • WCFM

Profile tabs and activity generation behave the same way on a WCFM marketplace.

  • WC Vendors

WC Vendors sellers get the same profile catalog, and their listings post to the community feed.

  • WooCommerce Product Vendors

The WooCommerce Product Vendors extension has its own module, with the vendor check that extension uses deciding who gets the tab.

On the profile

Two tabs you can rename, reslug, and reorder.

The tabs BuddyVendor adds are not fixed furniture. Labels, slugs, and position in the profile nav are all set from admin, so they match the language your community already uses. Members get a second screen of their own, which decides what actually appears on their profile.

  • A Product tab for registered vendors

Vendors get a Product tab on their profile listing what they have for sale in the connected marketplace, so the storefront is visible wherever the community already sees them.

  • A Favorite Product tab for members

Members get a Favorite Product tab, so they can mark products they are interested in and come back to them from their own profile.

  • Each member decides what of theirs is shown

A BuddyVendor Preferences screen sits under the member's own BuddyPress settings. From there a vendor turns their Products tab on or off, and chooses whether new listings, reviews on their products, and their own purchases generate activity. A vendor who would rather keep the catalog off their profile can do that without an admin ticket.

  • The same behaviour on BuddyBoss Platform

Profile tabs and activity generation work the same way on BuddyBoss Platform as on standard BuddyPress.

Pricing

One license, three site counts, the same integration in every plan.

Personal, Professional, and Agency all ship the same vendor integration: profile tabs, favorites, activity on new products and reviews, optional order activity, and support for all four marketplace plugins. The plan controls how many sites you can run it on and how fast support replies. Read the refund policy.

Before you buy

Questions marketplace operators ask.

  1. 01

Does BuddyVendor work with both BuddyPress and BuddyBoss?

Yes. It integrates with BuddyPress and with BuddyBoss Platform, and the profile tabs and activity generation behave the same on both.

  2. 02

Which multi-vendor plugins does it support?

Dokan, WCFM, WC Vendors, and WooCommerce Product Vendors. Each one has its own module inside the plugin, and all four connect to BuddyPress or BuddyBoss profiles the same way.

  3. 03

Can I customize the profile tabs it adds?

Yes. The Product tab and Favorite Product tab labels, slugs, and position in the profile nav are all set from admin.

  4. 04

How does it generate BuddyPress activity?

BuddyVendor posts a BuddyPress activity entry for every new product listing and every new product review. It can also post an entry when a member completes an order, with the products from that order shown as a slider inside the entry.

  5. 05

Can I control which activity entries get posted?

Yes, on both sides. Admin has separate switches for product creation activity, product review activity, and order placement activity. Each member also has a BuddyVendor Preferences screen under their own BuddyPress settings, where they turn their Products tab and their own activity entries on or off. An order entry is only posted when the site owner has enabled order activity and the buyer has opted in.

  6. 06

What can members do with the Favorite Product tab?

Members mark products they are interested in and return to them later from the Favorite Product tab on their own profile.

  7. 07

Can a member contact a vendor directly?

Yes, on Dokan. BuddyVendor adds a Message Vendor button to the Dokan store page that opens the BuddyPress or BuddyBoss compose screen already addressed to that vendor. Logged-out visitors see a login prompt instead, and the button is hidden on your own store. It needs the messaging component active, and a filter is available if you want to suppress it.

  8. 08

    Is BuddyVendor compatible with Youzify?

Yes. BuddyVendor ships explicit Youzify handling: when Youzify is active it posts its order entry as the activity_status type Youzify renders, stores extra activity meta on that entry, and filters youzify_activity_new_post_action so the entry reads correctly in the Youzify feed. On templates, BuddyVendor registers its tabs through the standard BuddyPress profile nav and carries nav-link handling for the Nouveau template and for legacy templates, so it is not limited to one of them.

  9. 09

    Is there a trial version?

There is no free trial, but every purchase is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee.

  10. 10

What is the difference between Personal, Professional, and Agency?

All three include the same vendor integration. The plan only controls how many sites you can activate it on and how fast support responds. All three are annual licenses.
