BuddyPress Job Manager puts WP Job Manager inside the member profile. Members get a Jobs tab with their own listing dashboard, a Post Job form that keeps them on their profile instead of sending them to a standalone page, and job counts in the WordPress admin bar. You decide which roles can post and which can apply.

It runs on BuddyPress and WP Job Manager. Both are free, and they are the only two plugins it needs. The four paid WP Job Manager add-ons are optional: each one adds one more tab, and the plugin runs without any of them.

What it needs
The plugin checks for exactly two things when WordPress loads it. If either one is missing it puts up a notice and deactivates itself rather than half working. Everything past that point is a choice you make later.
The community layer the tabs are added to. Without it the plugin shows an admin notice and switches itself back off.
The job listings, the submit form and the dashboard this plugin moves into the profile. Same rule: missing means inactive.
All four are sold separately by WP Job Manager, and none of them is a prerequisite. The plugin looks for each one at run time and adds the matching tab if it finds it. Skip all four and you still get the Jobs tab, the dashboard, in-profile posting, the role controls, the admin bar menus and job activity.
The settings screen tells you which options are still switched off and which add-on turns them on, so nothing is hidden without a reason.
On the profile
Three of these need nothing but the two free plugins. The rest are marked with the add-on that turns them on, so you can see the shape of a stock install before you download anything.
A tab on the profile carrying a live count of that member's listings. Its default view is the WP Job Manager dashboard: Title, Filled?, Date Posted, Listing Expires and Actions, with more rows loading as the page is scrolled. Only the profile owner sees their drafts, pending and expired listings; everyone else sees published rows.

What a member whose role cannot post jobs gets instead: their listings, with no Add Job button and no Post Job tab. Hitting the posting URL directly sends them back with a message rather than a blank screen.
My Resumes and Add Resume, so a candidate can keep more than one resume. One of them shows on the profile itself, chosen by the member from a dropdown on their profile settings. If they never choose, the most recently updated one is used.
The member's own application history, listing what they applied for, the date and any attachment. Paginated, so a long history stays usable. It sits under Resumes and only the member themself can open it.

A candidate contact block also carries a Send Private Message link, which opens a BuddyPress private message to that member. It needs the Messages component switched on.
One settings screen
Everything configurable lives on a single General tab under WB Plugins. There are no per-tier locks and no second screen to find.
Two pickers, listing every role that exists on your site. One sets who can post jobs and gets the Jobs tab, the other sets who can apply and gets the Resumes tab. There is also a Guest entry in both, for letting people who are not logged in take part.
Employer and Candidate come preselected because WP Job Manager and Resume Manager can create roles by those names. This plugin never creates them. On a site that has neither, those selections match nobody, and you pick the roles you actually use instead.
Posting a new job to the activity stream, posting a new resume, and notifying the job author when someone applies are three separate switches, and all three ship switched off. Turn on the ones you want and nothing else writes to the stream.
Activity is written once, when a listing is first published, not again on every edit. When that listing is trashed or deleted, the matching activity entry goes with it.
Members in a posting role get a Jobs menu in the WordPress admin bar with My Jobs and Post Job under it. Members in an applying role get a Resumes menu with My Resumes, Applied Jobs and Add Resume. Both carry a live count.
Pricing
Nothing here is held back for a Pro version, because there is no Pro version. Use it on as many sites as you like, with no licence key to enter. What it does need is BuddyPress and WP Job Manager, both free themselves.

No, and this is worth knowing before you install. The plugin adds no roles and no BuddyPress member types. It reads the roles your site already has and gives you two pickers, one for posting and one for applying. Employer and Candidate come preselected because WP Job Manager and Resume Manager can create roles by those names, but if your site does not have them those selections simply match nobody. Pick the roles you actually use, Subscriber for example, and the tabs follow your choice.
Yes, once you switch it on and the Applications add-on is active. The job author gets a BuddyPress notification for each application. The setting ships off, so nothing is sent until you enable it under Application notifications.

With Resume Manager active, their profile settings carry a dropdown listing their resumes, and nine switches for which fields show: email, professional title, location, video, description, URLs, education and experience, plus a master switch for the resume itself. If they never pick a resume, the most recently updated one is shown.

An entry is written once, when the listing is first published rather than on every edit, and it is removed automatically when that listing is trashed or deleted, so the stream is never left pointing at a listing that is gone.
Only if you allow it. Both role pickers carry a Guest entry for visitors who are not logged in. Leave it out of the list and posting stays restricted to the roles you chose.
It adds Jobs and Resumes menus to the WordPress admin bar for members in the matching roles, each with a live count and shortcuts to My Jobs, Post Job, My Resumes, Applied Jobs and Add Resume. Activating the plugin also creates one page, called Apply To Job, which backs the application view.
