BuddyPress · Free · IdeaPush addon
Ideas live in the board. Their author lives on a profile.
IdeaPush collects suggestions in one place, which is where they stay. This puts a member’s ideas on their BuddyPress profile, and can post an activity entry whenever a new one goes up.

- 01
What does this add?
An Ideas tab on the BuddyPress member profile, listing the ideas that member has posted in IdeaPush, plus an optional activity entry when a new idea goes up.
- 02
Do I need IdeaPush as well?
Yes. This is a bridge between IdeaPush and BuddyPress, not a standalone idea board. IdeaPush has to be installed and active.
- 03
Can I change what the tab is called?
Yes. Both the label and the URL slug are settings, so it can read as Ideas, Suggestions or Requests.
- 04
How are the ideas laid out?
A single list or two columns, whichever suits the profile design. There is also an optional limit on how much of each idea is shown.
- 05
Does posting an idea show up in the activity feed?
It can. New-idea activity is a setting, and you can write your own wording for the entry rather than accepting generic phrasing.
- 06
Does it work with BuddyBoss Platform?
Yes, alongside BuddyPress.
- 07
Is it really free?
Yes, and there is no paid edition.
