EDD Sell Services runs as an addon of Easy Digital Downloads. Nothing here asks a buyer to leave your store or a vendor to sign into a second dashboard.
Downloads
You create and price a service the same way you create a download, so it sits in the catalog and sells through the EDD checkout you already run. Add the estimated delivery time at the same time.
After purchase
You attach the questions a customer has to answer before work starts. They answer them once the payment goes through, so the job begins on written requirements instead of a guess.
On the order
A real time conversation thread, shared documents, and a status tracker are attached to the order. Both sides get notified as each step completes, and the vendor gets an email the moment an order is placed.
Delivery
Attach the finished file and mark the delivery. The customer rates the vendor afterwards, and the vendor can rate and review the customer too.
