Install WooCommerce Document Preview
To install the plugin. Follow the steps given below

- Step 1: Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
- Step 2: On the Dashboard of your website, scroll down the left-hand sidebar and click on Plugins
- Step 3: From the Installed Plugins page, click on Add New at the top of the page. Alternatively, click on Add New from the drop-down menu under Plugins on the sidebar.
- Step 4: On the Add Plugins page, type in the name of your plugin in the search box on the right-hand side, at the top of the page.
- Step 5: From the Search Results page, scroll down to your chosen plugin and click the button marked Install Now. If you would like to learn more about your plugin, click the blue link marked More Details
- Step 6: The plugin is now installed and unpacked into your website. The last thing to do now is click Activate Plugin
- Step 7: Activate the plugin.
Backend Settings
- From the ‘Product’ menu click on the Add New.
- Fill the details of the downloadable products. You will see a new section named ‘Preview Item’. Choose the file which you have to show as a preview at the Front-End.

Installation
Get The Plugin

- Download the latest version of the plugin zip file.
Install Plugin
- Upload the “Woo Document Preview ” plugin to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory via FTP.
- Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu. Alternatively, you can use WordPress Plugin installer from Dashboard >> Plugins >> Add New to Upload the plugin zip file. Click install and activate.
Setting up the plugin
No further setup is required for the plugin.
Using the plugin
- Make sure you have WooCommerce installed. Navigate to wp-admin > Products > All Products.
- Click on the Edit option for any product page on which you want to add the document preview.
- Scroll Down. You will find a metabox named Preview item.
- Give a name to the document file and upload the document preview of your product. Click Update.
- Now View your Product. You will see the document preview button on the product page

Backend Options
The plugin will show your server information, PHP configuration, and WordPress configuration. You can use this information to troubleshoot problems specific to a particular configuration setting.
Apart from that, it will also show you information about your WordPress installation. For example, what theme you are using, which plugins you have installed, what permalink structure you are using. etc. This information is particularly useful if you want to get help from someone without giving them access to your website.
You can simply send all this information anywhere via email, the plugin has an inbuilt option to send server information to your support agent or developer to debug the possible issue.

To set up the plugin:
- Navigate to wp-admin > WB Plugins > Email Options. Here In the General Settings Tab, you can change the default email address and name.
General Settings - In the Extra Settings Tab, there are some other options that you can change and tweak with this plugin, such as you can set Error 404 Page, Remove the plugin settings after deactivation of the plugin, set a Confirm Reading To option.
Extra Settings - You can also send your email through SMTP from SMTP Settings Tab. Just set up the SMTP and email information here.
SMTP-Settings - Click Submit to save changes.

To test the email:

- Add Group: This button allows the Admin to create a new group. Here group indicates that multiple sub-items or endpoints can be added under this particular group. Click on the ‘Add Group’ button and a popup will appear. Order of these sub-items or endpoints can be customized later by drag & drop.
