WP-CLI Support

Allows you to control site-wide notices from your dashboard itself
With the help of Sitewide notice, you can send a notice or an important message to your community members. In the new version, you can control your sitewide notices directly from your dashboard itself. With Nouveau, the management interface for Site Notices has been removed from the front-end theme templates. You can test this from Users>> Site Notices.
Addition of a new telephone profile field type:
BuddyPress has also added a new field type, the telephone field to the Extended Profiles component with support for all the international number formats.
Performance Improvements:
This version has optimized the use of memory within activity components. Each individual code file is loaded only when its needed thus improving the performance of your website. Also most importantly the Legacy Forum component that used to be earlier has been removed from this version. If your site was using Legacy Forums, you need to migrate to the bbPress plugin.
